Week 45 11/4/19: CHIVILCOY!

Wow! Chivilcoy is suuuupppppeeeerrrr cool!!! I drove out in a micro for hours and hours through fields and cows and little streams then BOOM I landed in a tiny rich city with plazas and parks galore and really nice people and it is kind of weird because for the first time since I got to Argentina I do not fear getting robbed right now hahaha!!!

To make matters crazier, my comp Elder Penia and I showed up just when they had redivided the area and we are BOTH brand new to "Campo" as this sector of the mission is called.

To make matters even CRAZIER, I am literally building up the Church in the middle of nowhere, out here in the Group (not Branch) of Chivilcoy, where only some ten or so faithful members gather each Sunday in a little house the Church is renting out for our worship services. I took some pics of the four rooms of the house so you can understand my excitement when I walked in and realized I would be learning a LOT on how to run the Church out here hahaha!!!

This Sunday we actually did not even meet in the house, instead we drove 2 hours through gorgeous fields and nature to the little city of Bragado, where we entered the town theater and there held the District Conference of the Chivilcoy District of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where 300 members from hours and hours away arrived to unite and hear from the Mission and Branch Presidents give their messages. This was ALSO a very new and very cool experience, I hope the photos do some justice. :)

On P-day we played football in the morning then fake football at night, and the other photos are just me learning to cook stuff with veggies in it, and me finding somewhere that sold giant Argentine burgers and other randomonium haha!
