week 27, 7/8/19: 'MURICA and Llama sweaters! The best mix.

We did an American Asado for the fourth of July...  WOOT WOOT! Burgers and hotdogs and skittles and 7-up and Coca-Cola... literally everything we could find from the States. It was great although freezing so that was really different.

Also we later tried Coconut Mate, where you but coconut flakes in the mate instead of yerba and use hot milk with sugar as the water. CELESTIAL MATE WOOT WOOT! You might understand if you served in Sudamerica.

Winter has been a bit tough, all the people are basically hibernating, so contacts are tough and they don't ever want to listen cuz opening the door lets in cold air. It's kinda  like "Yeah we know let us in." hahaha!!!

In other news, we found and bought AMAZING llama sweaters of llama wool that are super toasty, I love them so much! Also I bought a beanie and some gloves too cuz it actually was a really cold week. Guarantee back home it got colder as far as on the thermometer, but here it is like wet cold or thick cold, so it somehow is worse haha!

We are still out here learning and growing and doing our best to serve the Lord. It is a privilege and I know happiness can be found and serving others and lifting burdens. :) Salute to Elder Eagleston and Davis that are moving mountains and working like beasts out there! Salute to all the rest of the fam, I love bearing your name with me, and I hope to wear it well. :)

Love you all!

Much love and many prayers,
Elder Trentalope Davis
