Highlights are as follows:
During
a crazy thunderstorm I did a Dan Jones on a crowded Colectivo (bus) (where
you stand up and start preaching to everybody in earshot) :) It was
actually kinda fun in a way haha!
There are a
lot of these areas called Villas where there is one narrow alley and a
bunch of huts packed side to side, and we contact a lot in those areas
and lots of crazy stuff happens because of that, A girl got killed in
one of the Villas we frequented often so now we can´t go there. It is
really crazy in this area because there are really rich parts then
really poor parts too.
We played pool on P-day with some other Elders and it was all really fun.
I
am doing my best to adjust to everything and be who I need to be, I am
striving to maintain a focus on Christ and serve Him wholeheartedly amidst the ups and downs of life. Pray for me, and know I pray for you.
Although we often do not see it, God is guiding us and putting us in
positions and places where we are needed, or where we ourselves need to
be. There are things to learn, ways to grow, and hope all along the
path, let us ever seek the light and count the blessings. I love you
all, let us all press on in the work of the Lord. :)
