[Wk 14; 4/8/19] Trujui during Conference: Waters of Mormon

This week was eventful to say the least haha!

On Wednesday, we had a Mission-wide party for baptizing 220 something people in the month of March, and honestly, at first I was not to interested in going haha! BUT we went of course (like there´s another option hahaha XD), and I found friends, old and new!  We watched "Meet the Robinson´s", "Incredibles 2", and "Bolt" in Spanish, there was facturas (ice cream), and Subway, it was a BLAST!  I had been getting a little sick for a while before and by the end of the day, my voice was gone gone gone.  This continued until... well today but on Friday we called the mission nurse and she was super nice and told us what to get and what to do to take care of it... Unfortunately, the pharmacy wasn't so nice and I left basically broke haha! Luckily, my comp helped me by paying necessary expenses in the next couple days, and luckily today I can get this month´s allowance and all will be well. :)

So, in other news Gen. Conference rocked!!!! Zone Leaders from another zone, the AP's [Assistants to the President], and the President himself all decided to come to Trujui to baptize and thus we turned the little Trujui font into the waters of Mormon hahaha! It was actually quite fun and nice to have them all here, and to be able to baptize in between Conference sessions was a perfect past time. Fun fact: The first session of Conf. started at 1 PM here, and the second at 5 PM, we couldn't watch Priesthood session because it started at 9 PM, but anyways conference was GREAT!  Elder McKay did amazing, my fellow San Bernardinoians did not lie to me hahaha!

All the Elders here were anxiously awaiting changes about mission stuff due to rumors that had been circulating here for some time, but we were all astonished at the great change that took place... that great change being the LACK of great change haha! XD April Fools, Elders, April Fools!

ALSO, we were able to baptize a youth named Luciana and she is a STUD, she was so so receptive to the Gospel and basically dragged US to the font to get her baptized haha! I am sure you will be able to tell how happy she was to do so in the photos :)

I believe that is about all for my week, but I want to make very public mention at how much of a STUD my cousins are! Brock is doing his thing in Florida, and I envy his ability to be surrounded by Haitians, and I specifically want to thank Bryce for not only being such a wonderful example and missionary here in Argentina, but for writing me almost weekly with encouragement and hope. I sense His Christlike love and he truly is Ministering in the Lord´s way, at least to me. Elder Eagleston, THANK YOU! :)

Love you so so much family, and friends, you keep being good and doing what you ought haha! I miss you all and hope to bring honor to my wonderful branch, stake, and leaders through my efforts out here. :)
