ARGENTINA: Land of Dogs, Milk in Bags, and sweet, sweet facturas! :)

WELLLLL I made it! We took two flights in a row, one to Lima, the other to Buenos Aires, and I slept about an hour between both it felt like haha!  My first day was rough, I hadn't slept in two days and, yeah...how do you sway depression in Spanish 'cuz the first evening was that.  But I am doing a lot better than expected, and change is my new neighbor so I'm learning how to invite it over more often ;)   I was super tired when we arrived to Argentina but super hyped!  We showed up first at the President's home and the Mission Office, where everything is in the city and is nice and clean and orderly, and I made the fatal mistake of saying: "OHHH this must be what it is like here, wow!"

Anyways, we met our super stud Mission President, and he immediately told us that we are one of the most baptizing mission in south America, and he told us our lofty mission goals. We are baptism HUNGRY over here, I am still trying to make sense of it... like literally what we do in 90% of contacts is testify of the importance of baptism and BOOM we invite them to be baptized! Not kidding!

So, my trainer is from Peru, and he does not speak English, so mas o menos [more or less] I speak Castellano now! XD  President Resek told me on the first day (after I already had my latino comp) that the two of us were going to open a new area. It has been fun haha!  The area isn't reeeallly new but it is to us and it opens and closes a lot..... IDK how to explain it haha!  But, yeah, I am in Trujui, and it is "kind of" like a city, its densely populated but you can also walk just a little ways and find total campo [fields].  Most of the roads in our area are just dirt, and everybody's houses here are like bricks, cement, and tin. Our apartment doesn't have AC so we have to leave open the windows open and I have been eaten alive by mosquitoes... they can smell fresh meat! XD
In our bathroom, instead of T.P. we got this thing called a Bidet (like BOH-DAY) and I just call that bad boy a SUPER SOAKER, cuz you sit down on it after using the restroom, you turn it on, then you brace for impact as it washes you clean clear to your kidneys hahahaha!!!!! JK JK its kinda nice actually but still! XD
Also, the milk comes in bags here, and I was able to try mate' for the first time and I will learn to love it hahaha!  Its nuts here and I'm out of time but I will explain more of the culture here later when I figure out this writing the Mission President and everything I am supposed to do hahaha!

Family, I  love you and can't wait to call sometime, and friends, you all rock !  Keep up the good work and know that the Lord lives and loves you all!  LOVE YOU FAMILY!!!!! GOOD LUCK BROCK, I miss the CCM it rocks, just be nice to the ppl there they are studs and I love them, you are gonna LOVE it is like paradise! Keep up the grind Bryce! Chow for now! :)
